About
Kieran McIver is a Solicitor here at Astraea Linskills.
Kieran joined Astraea Linskills in 2023 as a paralegal whilst studying law at Liverpool John Moores University. In August 2024, he commenced his Training Contract at our firm after successfully becoming an Accredited Police Station Representative. Kieran completed his Legal Practice Course and his masters in law alongside his training contract.
Kieran qualified as a solicitor in summer 2026 and now regularly appears before the magistrates court to represent clients on a variety of criminal offences.
Kieran handles cases of general crime and serious offences such as firearms, drug offences, serious sexual offences, offences against the person and offensive weapons. Kieran also frequently represents clients at the police station and has a strong commitment to securing the best possible outcome in every case.
Outside of work, Kieran is interested in travelling, music festivals and is an avid Liverpool FC fan.
Education, Memberships and Associations
Kieran achieved a First-Class LLB Law (Hons) Degree from Liverpool John Moores University in 2023.
Kieran completed the Legal Practice Course with a Masters in Law in July 2025 and secured a grade distinction.
