Ffion Potter
About
Ffion obtained a First-Class LLB from the University of Chester in 2022.
She began her legal career as a fee earner at a leading negligence firm, where she gained valuable experience in case management and client care. Driven by a strong interest in family law, particularly matters relating to child protection and autonomy, Ffion later moved to a specialist family law practice.
Over the past two years, she has worked within a highly experienced firm of family law solicitors where she commenced her training contract in August 2023. During this time, she gained exposure to a wide range of public and private law matters, including assisting a Children’s Panel solicitor in complex care proceedings and Rule 16.4 matters.
Ffion joined Astraea Linskills in March 2026 as a Trainee Solicitor and is currently undertaking the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) alongside her practical training.
She is particularly interested in cases involving children and safeguarding, and is committed to supporting vulnerable clients through sensitive and often complex family proceedings.
